Meet "Queen Kelis", the originator. I know, I know get over it. But the more and more I see those wanna be fashion icons(I will not say her name). I get sad because nobody ever mentions that well, Kelis was doing it 5 years ago.

So I think I may be a little obsessed with this woman. I just love her edge! And I want to prove to everyone, that unlike people think...Rihanna did not come up with the new style she is rocking. If you look at the pic above, you see a much better version of Ri Ri's do. Now...forgive me for coming off as a hater, because I do value Rihanna as a style icon. But please people give credit, where credit is due.

Yes it's Kelis, Nas' baby mama and soon to be estranged wife. What I love about this woman is that through it all she remains herself, uniquely stylish. You see Kelis has been making waves on the fashion set for a while, but her music was never good enough for people to really take notice. Then came Ri Ri, who to put it nicely swagger jacked Kelis....from her cut, to her I'm weird and I don't care what you think style. I won't blame ri ri or her stylist, because let's face it we all are inspired by someone. I just hope Kelis can reclaim her throne once this mess with Nas is over.
